A pillow made from a  length of kurame kasuri Early 20th century 9″ x 29″ Japan This is a patched length of kasuri or ikat cloth, woven in Kurume on the island of Kyushu which is known for its bold, geometric kasuri designs. It was taken from a futon cover.
